THE MILLER FAMILY
Megan, Austin, Joanne and Cliff Miller are a family of four known for their rich harmony, wide-ranging musical skills and family oriented bluegrass shows.
They have taken the Southwest Missouri area by storm in the past two and a half years, making numerous appearances at all the great venues, big and small, including Starvy Creek Bluegrass Festival, Silver Dollar City, the Coleman Theater and the Lester Flatt Memorial Park Bluegrass Festival in Vilonia Arkansas.
Cliff Miller (a.k.a. Dad) sings lead vocals and is the lead guitar player for the group. He has a rich heritage of music dating back over 30 years.
Joanne Miller (a.k.a. Mom) is the bass player and does lead and harmony vocals. She has a long family tradition of great musical talent. Her uncle, Johnny Mullins, is an award-winnng songwriter, noted for such great hits as Blue Kentucky Girl and Company's Comin'.
Megan Miller (a.k.a. the teenager) can play fiddle with the best of them! She began playing the fiddle shortly before her 11th birthday and since then has developed a crowd-pleasing presence on stage. She also sings lead and harmony vocals.
Austin Miller (a.k.a. the tallest member of the band) plays the banjo, and sings lead and harmony vocals as well. This young man has made a name for himself in Southwest Missouri, though he began playing just three years ago!
